HALEY ROBERTS

is a Virginia-based illustrator who creates art inspired by the life she’s living—and the stage she never quite left. She began creating art as a way to help others navigate grief and child loss, using illustration as a tool for comfort, remembrance, and healing. Over time, she felt called to merge her worlds of art, theatre, and womanhood—bringing storytelling, humor, and heart together while creating work that celebrates, uplifts, and honors the experiences of women.

 

Because of her deep love for theatre, Haley specializes in collaborating with theatre companies across the USA to create products that honor the arts, as well as creating one-of-a-kind custom theatre portraits that allow performers to turn their fleeting moments on stage into lasting keepsakes. Haley has been actively pursuing this creative dream for the past five years (no musical theatre pun intended).

Haley has absolutely no formal visual art education—other than one semester in 8th grade—but still, she puts pen to paper. When not wrangling her five children (yes, you read that number correctly), Haley works professionally as an intimacy choreographer and actress, as well as teaching performing arts to the next generation. She also enjoys spending time with her incredibly supportive husband, biking, eating potatoes, sewing elaborate dress-up costumes for her kids, belting out musical theatre songs, reading self-help books, and avoiding ironing at all costs.

She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts High School Drama program, attended Brigham Young University’s Music Dance Theatre program, and graduated with Honors from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Fashion Merchandising program.
